Indications
Cardiovascular Diseases: Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Hypertension, Angina, Heart Protection during Surgery, Cardiomyopathy.Neurological Disorders: Myopathy, Ataxia, Genetic Neuromuscular Diseases, Muscular Dystrophy, Migraine, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease.Infertility: Male infertility, Female infertility (due to Poor Ovarian Reserve, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Others).
Composition
Each capsule contains- Ubidecarenone (as Co-enzyme Q10) 150 mg Magnesium (derived from Magnesium oxide) 150 mg Vitamin D3 (as Cholecalciferol) 1000 IU
Pharmacology
Ultra-Q is a unique combination of Ubidecarenone, Magnesium and Vitamin D3, which all work synergistically to provide nutrient support for the vascular system & neuromuscular health. Ultra-Q can be used for heart health, prevention of statin-induced muscle myopathy as well as to decrease the recurrence and frequency of migraines.Ubidecarenone supports heart health by facilitating electron transport in mitochondria, which enhances ATP synthesis vital for cardiac energy. Its antioxidant properties stabilize heart cell membranes, protecting them from oxidative damage and preserving function.Magnesium is crucial for a wide range of physiological functions, including blood pressure & heartbeat regulation, muscle and nerve function and bone health.Vitamin D3 supports optimal cardiac function by regulating calcium metabolism, while also promoting bone strength, neuromuscular health, and immune defense.
Dosage & Administration
One capsule once daily or as directed by a physician.
Interaction
Statins: The statin drugs reduce endogenous synthesis of Ubidecarenone in the body. Thus, Ubidecarenone supplement may increase Ubidecarenone levels without adversely affecting statin drug’s efficacy. Warfarin: May reduce the effectiveness of Warfarin. Thyroid drugs: May alter the effect of thyroid drugs. Beta blockers: Beta blockers (particularly Propanolol) have been reported to inhibit some Ubidecarenone dependent enzymes. Antidiabetic medications: Ubidecarenone may improve glycemic control in some type II diabetes. If this occurred, antidiabetic medications may need appropriate dose adjustment. Doxorubicin: Ubidecarenone may help to reduce the cardiotoxicity of Doxorubicin
Contraindications
Do not use this product if you have an allergy or sensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Side Effects
Ubidecarenone seems to be safe and relatively well tolerated in recommended dose. Occasionally gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness and skin rash may occur but these tend to happen with higher doses.
